The climate-friendly transformation of the city of Zurich’s heating supply is an important step on the path to net zero. That’s why we’re already supplying Zurich households with heat from Lake Zurich and waste water and waste heat from the Werdhölzli sewage treatment plant. Our district heating networks already cover a good third of the city of Zurich – with that figure expected to rise to 60% by 2040.
