Use your entire roof to produce more solar energy than you consume. This way you can make optimum use of your system and benefit from high yields for the long term.
Your PV electricity is used directly in your neighbourhood. As a result, you contribute to future-proof, decentralised energy supply. And there's minimal effort required.
With every new solar power plant built, Zurich is one step closer to its goal of becoming a solar city. This will make the city less dependent on fossil resources.
Selling your surplus PV electricity to your neighbours is even more worthwhile than feeding it into the grid. You will become part of a local energy community (LEG) – with minimal effort. We will take care of the formalities and find local customers for your electricity. In return, you will benefit from attractive revenues over the long term.
For every kilowatt hour sold, you will receive an advantageous LEG electricity price of 12 centimes. In addition, you will receive the new solar subsidy of 2 centimes in the LEG. Your revenue will therefore amount to a total of 14 centimes per kilowatt hour.
You sign up for ewz.solarquartier at ewz.ch.
As soon as there is a sufficient number of participants in your neighbourhood, we will form an LEG. We will let you know when that time comes.
You share your surplus solar power with your neighbours and benefit from stable revenues.
You generate sustainable energy with your photovoltaic system – for example, on the roof of your business or apartment building. With the ewz.solarquartier LEG, you can share this solar power directly with your neighbours. When the sun is shining, your roof becomes a power plant for your neighbourhood.
