ewz has had a Sustainability Board since 2023. The committee, which consists of external experts from different stakeholder groups, regularly discusses strategic challenges and possible fields of action for the strategic orientation of the company. Together with the ewz Management Board, the Sustainability Board reviews ewz’s sustainability performance each year and puts forward ideas and concerns. It maintains dialogue with the Management Board with the goal of improving ewz’s sustainability performance.
